1. Practice and game attendance is expected. If you cannot attend a practice or game, you must notify your head coach in advance with reason for absence. Practices/games will be excused for doctor/dentist appointments, illness when absent from school, death in the family and academic/religious events when player is a participant in the event.
2. No leaving practices or games without a coachâ??s permission. You must stay with your coach until picked up by an adult.
3. Good sportsmanship and good manners are expected at all times.
4. Respect your coaches, teammates, opposing teams and all members of the White Township Youth Athletic Association.
5. You need to notify your respective Coaches during practices or games with any problems or any incident on or off the field/court.
6. Inappropriate behavior at any time will not be tolerated, such as, but not limited to, not listening to Coaches, foul language, creating problems with teammates, disregarding personal or private property, disregarding league facilities or disrupting team activities.
Minimum disciplinary actions for non-compliance to all items above:
First Offense: Will result in a verbal warning to both the child and the parent or guardian and a one game suspension.
Second Offense: Will result in a written warning to the child and parent or guardian and a two game suspension.
Third Offense: If there is no change in behavior after the written warning, the player will be subject to expulsion from the team without a refund. The Head Coach and Commissioner will make a recommendation for expulsion to the WTYAA Officers.
NOTE: Continued disciplinary problems throughout multiple seasons/sports and any violent behavior (even at first offense) could result in the suspension of participation in any and all WTYAA activities for a any period of time (including permanently) as determined by the Officers of the Association.
